Non Luoghi / Non Places by Francesco Nencini.

This publication caught my eye because it interacts with the idea of photography and the everyday. The brief we have been side coincides with this realization of the visual, passages and places and in the book the photographer is trying to set the boundary between vision and reality, ideas and and sensations. The concepts of vision, presence and passage relate to all my weeks of photographing the theme of everyday as they are visions of me making my passage through the days and weeks slowly but surely. The presence of the images shows in the uploads I do everyday, the viewer knows exactly that the most recent photo upload is from that day which plays with the concept of realism and sensations as most of the things I do photograph are of sensations we go through and things we experience on a day to day basis. "We can always consider photography the result of a choice, and thus an action with consequences that manifest themselves in the form of images."

My way of looking at things now is to look at things only because you see them for the first and last time in the same way ever again which is why I take a photo which is then an image that can be viewed repeatedly how ever many times you want. "Until the digital era, photography was unable to avoid contact with reality. Exist in order to record; through a chemical process, escaping where possible, yet remaining as faithful as possible to the inner eye, the authors intention. Even better, opening a direct path of the will to representing."
